Raffle Winner Picker Guide
Raffle drawings are usually simple, but they still benefit from a clear process. The two big questions are how duplicates should be handled and how the result will be shown.
Decide what duplicates mean
If duplicate names represent multiple tickets, keep them. If duplicates are accidental repeated lines, remove them before the draw.
Pick the reveal style
Use instant pick when the operator needs speed. Use a wheel when the audience wants a visible suspense moment.
Store the result
At minimum, keep the winner names and timestamp. That is enough for most small raffles.
