How to Use a Random Name Picker Without Repeats
No-repeat picking is especially useful in classrooms, discussion groups, and multi-winner drawings. The idea is simple: once a name is picked, remove it from the pool until you intentionally reset the list.
When no-repeat mode helps
Use no-repeat mode when participation should be distributed evenly across a group. It is ideal for cold calling, assigning turns, or rotating through a roster.
It is less appropriate when duplicate entries represent extra chances, such as multiple raffle tickets.
Reset at the right moment
A no-repeat workflow should still have an obvious reset button. That makes it easy to start a new round or a new day without rebuilding the list from scratch.
Track history
History gives the operator context. If someone asks who was picked last, the answer is immediately visible.
